 | Last Sunday the weather was kind for runners who took part in the races organised by the Council of Sport in Bigastro. The Mayor, Raúl Valerio Medina says that, due to the great success of the event, it will be repeated in future years. |
 | Five hundred and fifty people took part in the various categories ranging from infants to “third age”. Although most of the runner were from Bigastro there were competitors from Dolores, Benidorm, Orihuela, Elche, Crevillente, Jacarilla, Aspe, Molina de Segura and Elda amongst the winners. |
