Dire warnings

Britain is on alert today for high temperatures. Forecasters say that it could reach 35 degrees in the south of the country and warn the young and elderly to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day.

There is also a danger that rail lines will buckle under the heat causing disruption to rail services.

It seems that some newspapers in Britain like to cause panic whatever the weather, heavy rain, high winds and now hot sun.
