The situation is becoming more critical by the hour as the rain continues unabated. Many roads are now closed off to traffic and people are advised to stay indoors.

This is the road from Bigastro to Orihuela.

On the coast there has been a lot of damage and the underpasses are completely flooded. There is even a video of a tornado off the coast at La Zenia.
