It was no joke

If you tried to get into Torrevieja yesterday and got caught up in one of the traffic jams, then that was no April Fools joke. The councillor for tourism had estimated 200,000 visitors to the town over Easter but now thinks that could well be over 300,000. After the harsh winter, people just want to get away and enjoy some sunshine.
