When we awoke this morning, there was frost on the ground. The skies were blue and the sun was shining so the frost soon cleared to what promised to be a good day.
Then we set off to visit Pam’s father who lives in South Wirral and there a dense layer of fog lay over the land as you can see in this photo taken from his bedroom window.
Having done all we needed to do, we set off back to Altrincham to return the hire car. The fog was nowhere near as dense but it was still grey and gloomy.
Finally we got a lift back to Sale where we are staying only to Laura and Dave’s house bathed in bright sunshine. All we need is some rain and snow and we will have experienced four seasons in one day.
