Benidorm is already noted for its tall buildings. This one is set to beat the rest by a long way. By 2010, the west beach at Benidorm will be dominated by these 200 metre high twin towers joined at the top by an inverted cone .
This residential building will have 47 floors with a further 3 floors underground. It will have an Olympic size swimming pool, sports tracks and ample gardens surrounding it.
The reinforced concrete structure will be clad in glass which will act as a mirror to the sea and the city. Underneath the central cone, the architects plan to hang stainless steel gulls to stop people suffering from vertigo as they look out.
