The colour of your pee.

Courtesy of one of the chemist's shops in Bigastro, this chart shows you what the colour of your urine indicates.

Mine is often the third colour along which indicates that I don't drink enough water.

I drink at least 2 litres of water a day (probably 2.5 to 3 litres quite often), independent of what other beverages I might consume during the day, and I haven't consumed any caffeinated product for 14 or so years and rarely even decaffeinated tea or coffee. Water and some wine and an occasional G&T (not diet tonic versions) comprise most of my liquid intake. My urine is, I'd say, mostly similar to the 2nd on the chart, occasionally the first. The only time it ever gets to the 3rd is the first micturation of the day when I rise in the morning. Nor do I restrict my salt intake, although I do mostly use low sodium salt.
