Age Concern

Last week we took another boot load of items to Age Concern in La Siesta in preparation for their Summer Fair last Saturday.

Age Concern hold two events every year: one in the summer and one at Christmas time.
They raised just over €2,000 last summer and were hoping to top that figure this year.

Age Concern Costa Blanca Sur has no government funding and can only continue to do its essential work with older people thanks to donations from the public and business. The money raised from the summer fair goes straight back into the charity.

We hope that our donations helped to swell their coffers after all we never know when we might need their help!
