An end to Summer?

Galicia was battered with winds of 100kph -gusting to 140kph - yesterday. Along with the wind, the area also suffered heavy rain.

Things are set to improve there today as the weather system moves from west to east bringing rain to the Aragon and Extremadura in centre of the peninsula.

The coast of Almeria will face strong winds throughout the day. The Canary Islands will be covered with cloud and temperatures will drop in the Basque Country, The High Ebro and north of Aragon.

Hopefully the Costa Blanca will escape much of this bad weather although even here the temperatures are lower than they have been and we will see clouds alternating with the sunshine.
