Those who have visited Orihuela recently may have noticed that the Council have put up new signs in the old part of the city.
However, it seems that the plates with the old names of the streets that the council of Culture have put up at 22 points are plagued with orthographic errors. You will find the words "fué", "mas" (adverb), "tambien" or "albergába" on the plates which I assume the critic implies are written incorrectly e.g. accented characters that should or should not be there.
Of dear! If only my Spanish was good enough I would be able to tell you what the signs should say.
