PROCOSTA, the association of constructors and promoters in the Vega Baja region, have issued an official notice denouncing the attitude of the financial organisations with respect to their refusal to provide further credit to the real estate companies.
The President of the organisation, Navarrese Antonio, says it is impossible to understand why these institutions are refusing to finance companies that haven't stopped taking care of their economic commitments. These are companies that offer guaranties which exceed the loans that they ask for, companies with important patrimonies in real estate and that provide work for hundreds of families.
Construction companies form a vital part of the economy of the Vega Baja region. They have helped create its wealth and provided employment for its people.
PROCOSTA will be appealing to the Catalan Autonomous Government and the Central Government for assistance with the issues this region faces.
