If you are going to get a boat – get a big one

All the talk on the news for the last year has been about the economic crisis and how badly hit Spain has been. Of all the European countries, Spain has the highest percentage of workers on the dole.

There are obviously some though who have not been hit too badly judging by the cars you see on the roads and even more pointedly by the boats docked at the sports harbours in the area. On our trip to Santa Pola yesterday I caught sight of these beauties.

Not bad for a jaunt along the coast’

This one sits a bit lower in the water, maybe not so good on a rough tide

Now this is more like it. There’s room for a few mates on this tidy looking craft. Does it come in other colours though. I’m not too keen on that dark hull.
