When it rains…

It doesn’t rain very often here in Bigastro but when it does it pours down. I was woken up in the early hours of this morning by the sound of the rain pouring down outside. Like most Spanish houses, we have no guttering and so the rain cascades off the roof and bounces onto the pavement below. That was obviously what woke me up.

The rain eased off a little and so eventually I was able to get back to sleep. Now at 10:30am It is still raining intermittently and I expect it will do so all day. Tomorrow promises to be brighter and Sunday we should see the sun again.
