The Bigastro based company, Eurener opened their first unit for assembling photovotaic solar panels in 1997. Since then they have opened several more. They currently export 95% or their production to countries like Italy and Portugal and are now opening 70 franchises overseas.
Actually, as we have driven past, there seems to be very little activity at their second unit and the showroom next to the town hall hasn’t opened yet. Perhaps they are experiencing a temporary lull in orders.
