A night of illusion in Orihuela

The Magical Kings are ready to visit the homes of all the children of the Vega Baja tonight.

Tonight their Majesties will be arrive at every corner of the region following the long trip they have made from the East to fulfil their annual appointment.

In Orihuela, the cavalcade will take a different route this year finishing in the Parque de la Ocarasa, where the magicians of East will make their offerings of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the boy Jesus at the living Bethlehem.

Like every year, the Three Kings will arrive by the Rabaloche and then travel to the Ayuntamiento by the Puente Viejo, via the Plaza Nueva and calles San Pascual, José Antonio, Aragón and Ocarasa. .

The councillor for Festivals, Mayte Valero, says that this year, the cavalcade is based on the world of nature. There will be wolves, fairies, goblins, trees and animals of the forest. In addition, Astérix and Obélix arrive at Orihuela for the occasion along with a dragon breathing fire.

Throughout the route, the Kings will distribute toys that have been donated by Caja Rural, Grupo Marcos, Proambiente and Construcciones Zaplana.
