As I have mentioned already, one of our classmates, Christopher Riley and his wife Kim were at the British Legion concert in Alicante last Saturday. Christopher plays saxophone in the Bigastro main band and flute in the junior band.
I’m now told that two of the residents from Villas Andrea were there as well.
Pat and David Steele were in fact playing as part of “Just Brass” and Jacobo, from the Bigastro band, was playing the timpanis which had been kindly loaned to “Just Brass” for the occasion.
