When we heard the door buzzer last night, we wondered just who was visiting us at 10:30 on a Friday night. The voice on the intercom was familiar and the person knew our names. We had to go to the gate to find out. It never occurred to us that anybody would be out "trick or treating".
It turned out to be Susanna who was an avid reader of my blog and who we had met at the Fiesta in August. She had taken the trouble to bring a few of her friends up to our house to show us their costumes. They were very good.
They'd all made such a great effort that we gave them treats and wished them a Happy Halloween.
Later at 11pm we had a couple more visitors who had made a similar effort so they were rewarded as well.
Susanna is the sister of Evarista Moya Moya, a member of the Bigastro Golf Society. Susanna lost her job in August and has returned to her studies at University. Susanna is such a lovely girl, we hope she is successful and eventually finds the job she deserves.
