Last Saturday the 10th of November, a neighbor of the C/ Barrio Nuevo in Bigastro, Teresa Egio Mora, was pleasantly surprised to find that one of her hens had laid an egg weighing 171 grammes.
Teresa said her hens had never laid eggs of this size before. She jokingly added that the egg will make a great potato tortilla.
