Hay muchos limones

Those who live here will have seen the oranges being picked over the last couple of weeks.

We have two lemon trees and are never really sure when they should be picked so we leave them until we're ready.

Anyone who has tried it will tell you that picking lemons can be a treacherous business.  The trees have long thorns that can inflict a lot of damage which is why the Spaniards employ migrant workers for the task. I will be wearing a long sleeve jersey and gloves!

This year's crop equals the one from two years ago so we'll probably end up giving loads of them away.
