 | Bigastro Town Council invite us to a training bullfight with picadores at Caravaca de la Cruz. Apparently, JOSÉ MANUEL SÁNCHEZ ALCARAZ "SURESTEÑO", a neighbour of Bigastro, will be making his reappearance in the ring. Transport is free, you only need to pay the 15 euros entrance fee. The bus will leave from Calle Gabriel Miró at 4pm on the 9th June. The corrida starts at 6:30pm and normally last about 2 hours. If you are interested, phone the Ayuntamiento to buy your ticket and reserve a place on the coach. |
 | Please note, if you are squeamish or are opposed to the concept of bullfighting DO NOT GO. This is not an occasion to make your protest known. Although this is to be a fight with young bulls and novice bullfighters, it will be every bit the real thing. |
