The Christmas lights in Orihuela will be turned on December 13th - worth a visit I think. And those who might worry about the cost of all the electricity consumed by the lights, don’t worry, all the bulbs are low energy.
Another must see is the Belén, situated in the plaza Marqués de Rafal which this year will commemorate the poet Miguel Hernández with a figure that reads some of his poems.
